Details of Poynton Male Voice Choir Concerts in 2024
90 th Anniversary Concert
On Saturday the 20th of April at 7.30pm
at Poynton Methodist Church
The Choir will be joined by award-winning international singing star Charlotte Hoather for its 90th anniversary concert on Saturday the 20th of April at Poynton Methodist Church.
Charlotte, who has featured in leading soprano roles with Scottish Opera, performing at New York’s Metropolitan Opera, in Paris, and sung in concert with super star Rolando Villazon, will be returning to her Cheshire roots to help the Choir celebrate in style.
A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Royal College of Music, Charlotte has won prestigious prizes including the Voice Of The Future at the International Eisteddfod, Llangollen, and the Odin and Grand Metropolitan competitions. Her storybook opera Down The Rabbit Hole earned a five-star review from The Guardian. And she amazed audience and contestants alike as a secret star singer when BBC launched its TV show I Can See Your Voice.
